Workshop on Industry Academia Practices in Civil Engineering Construction

In collaboration with the Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Civil Engineering Department has organized a Two – Day National Workshop on “Industry Academia Practices in Civil Engineering Construction” to bridge the gap between Brainer and Industry. The workshop focused on the Industry Academia Interaction and Collaboration and its vital role in the learning process of students, making the students ready for the industry dynamics. The workshop was attended by more than 300 participants, from several Engineering Colleges in and around Telangana, who took advantage of the Knowledge Talks in the event.

Prof. Pradeep Kumar Ramancharla, Professor and Registrar IIIT-H, Dr. Pallavi Badry Head CE, VJIT, Dr.  A. Padmaja, Principal, VJIT and Prof. P. Venugopal Reddy, Director, VJIT, have inaugurated the workshop. Prof. Ramesh Reddy, the Opening Speaker, Dean (Retired), OU, had enlightened the gathering on the “Practices in Concrete Construction”. Dr. T. Senthil Vadivel, Professor, ECE, VJIT, gave a presentation on “An Acumen of construction Industry Essentials”. The workshop also included numerous innovative talks by the Industry Professionals, Mr. Pawan Pachigolla, Tech Manager, PSV Precast, Mrs. G. Venkatalaksmi, Sr. Scientist, ECIL and Mr. Srinivas Reddy, Chairman ICI and MD, Rehab Structure.
