- T Pavan Kumar has been awarded Ph.D from JNTU Hyderabad. His research is on composite materials for modern applications.
- G Sreeram Reddy has been granted a patent entitled “Method For Computing Gaussian Curvature Deviation.

- Ms. Manogna Pulipaka dedicated her services as content writer for “Developer Student society”.
- Mr. Sai Rohith had undergone for internship, with a stipend of Rs. 3000 per month, for 6 months in in “T- works Foundation” government of Telangana.
- Mr. Sai Rohith developed a tablet vending machine for medication dispensing employing the technology including embedded C++, IoT and Java Script.
- Mr Sai Poorna Laxman participated in the “IN-Space CANSAT India” student competition at Ahmedabad, organized by Indian Space Research Organization.
- The department has organized assembly and disassembly of Maruthi 800 car engine. Students from all the years and also from other institutes participated in the event.
