The Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized the National Conference on Recent Trends in Mechanical Engineering (RTME 2025) on the 25th & 26th of April 2025. This conference was held in Hybrid mode and brought together researchers, academicians, and students from various institutions to share their insights and innovations in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

The theme of the conference focused on advancing awareness among young mechanical engineers about current research trends and the importance of addressing real-life and industrial challenges through sustainable technologies, processes, and products. RTME 2025 aimed to inspire young minds by providing a platform to interact with eminent researchers, present their own work, and engage in meaningful academic discussions.

The conference received a total of 40 research paper submissions, out of which 36 papers were selected after a thorough review process. The selected papers were categorized under three major streams: Design, Thermal Engineering, and Manufacturing.

The inaugural session was graced by the presence of our Principal, Dean, Academic Coordinator, and Administrative Officer, who formally launched the proceedings of the conference and encouraged participants with their insightful addresses.

Throughout the two days, the conference featured multiple paper presentation sessions, where participants presented their work in front of expert panels and peers, promoting vibrant academic exchange and constructive feedback.

RTME 2025 successfully achieved its objective of fostering a collaborative research environment and provided an enriching experience to all its participants. The Department extends its gratitude to all the contributors, organizing team members, and participants who made the event a grand success.
