A Four Week Online Internship programme was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology from September 15th to October 15th 2021 in association with ICI Knowledge Centre. Students from various colleges were invited to take part in this programme. Dr.Pallavi Badry, Head of Civil Engineering Department gave an introduction about the internship and the proceedings on Day 1.
Guest Lecturers from different colleges and faculty of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology Mr.G. Srinath, Mrs T Sarada, T Deepika, Dr Kamalinidevi, B Sathish Kumar, and Head Of the Department Dr Pallavi Badry has taken various sessions on different software like STAAD PRO, GEO5 and their applications, Designing concepts using this software. The major topics covered in this 15-day internship programme were developing a General Layout, Analytical Source of Structures and the basics of the STAAD PRO, Geostudio, and Check for Slope stability using GEO5 software, Remote sensing Concepts and applications. The internship was interactive and students got a good platform to know about various software and ways to explore them in the designing and construction field.
