VJIT Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2025

The Department of CSE (AI&ML) at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology successfully organized the Internal Hackathon – VJIT Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon 2025 on 5th July 2025. This event served as the institutional-level qualifier for the national Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon, aiming to identify and nurture innovative solutions aligned with India’s space-tech ambitions.

The hackathon witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all four years of B.Tech and from various engineering branches across the VJIT campus. Students collaborated in diverse teams to present innovative, tech-driven solutions, displaying creativity and critical thinking. The event was successfully completed by students with great enthusiasm and a commitment to solving real-world problems.

The faculty coordinators, including Mrs. Parul Gupta, Mr. K. Srinivasa Rao, Mrs. Ch. Sirisha Devi, Mrs. Shweta Sharma, along with student coordinators Ms. Tanisha Mandal and Ms. Siri Shetty, ensured smooth execution of the event.

Judging and Review Session

The project reviews commenced by 9:30 AM, evaluated by a distinguished panel of external judges:

  1. Mr. Chandrasekhara Chennuru – Retired Scientist, ISRO (Remote Judge)
  2. Mr. Rajashekar Gunganti – Full Stack Developer
  3. Mr. Vikhyath Gupta – AI Engineer

The judges critically assessed the innovation, feasibility, and technical implementation of the projects, offering insightful feedback to participants.

Interactive Workshop

Following lunch, an enriching workshop was conducted by Mr. Rajashekar and Mr. Vikhyath. The session focused on career preparation in the tech industry, covering:

  • Resume and portfolio building
  • Navigating technical interviews
  • Live Q&A on career pathways and skill development

This session proved to be highly informative and was well received by the student community.

In the concluding segment of the day, the results of the qualified teams were announced based on the judges’ evaluations. The selected teams will move forward to represent the institute at the national level of the Bharatiya Antariksh Hackathon.

The event was successfully conducted with high levels of participation, collaboration, and professionalism. It not only provided a platform for innovation but also created valuable opportunities for learning and growth, making it a memorable experience for all involved.

VJIT is just a average clg. Its neither bad nor good thats how i felt when i studied, factuality is good, supportive bit management isn't.
