“Let us remember: One book, one pen and one teacher can change the world” voiced Malala Yousafzai.
To honour and commemorate the work and service of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishna, the second Prime Minister of India, we have been celebrating Teachers Day on 5th September every year to mark the birth anniversary of the great teacher.
VJIT observed Teachers Day with grandeur to respect its educators and express gratitude towards them for their broad and celestial service in instructing the future professionals and ‘shaping the world in their classrooms’.
The programme commenced on a cheerful note with a humorous skit and a dance performance by our Yukti cultural group.
Director Dr. Venugopal Reddy, Prinicipal, Dr. Padmaja, HoDs and the faculty were all the exhilarating participants in this programme. Dr. Venugopal Reddy and Dr. Padmaja appreciated all the teaching fraternity for their incomparable service and featured on the genuine quintessence of being an educator and how we should center around sustaining the more youthful age into dependable natives of Inida.
In respect and appreciation for their amazing and relentless endeavours, three educators were chosen for ‘Best Teacher Awards’.
Dr. Indira Priyadarshini, from H&S Department , Mrs. Sunila Bharathi from MBA Department and Mr. Zaheer from CSE Department , who are known for their invaluable contribution in emanating knowledge and and commendable administration in their departments were felicitated by Dr. Venugopal Reddy and Dr. Padmaja.
VJIT heartily congratulates the awardees for setting a new paradigm in the teaching field!
