The NCC cadets of Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) celebrated Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit on the college campus. The event was organized to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and to instill a sense of national pride and responsibility among students.
The program was graced by the presence of the Principal Dr A Srujana, Dean Rankings Dr A Padmaja, Senior Administrative Officer & Director Training and Placements Mr. R Venkata Chalam, Director Academics Mrs. G Srilata, and all Heads of the departments along with faculty members and students. Their presence added significance to the occasion and encouraged the cadets to uphold the values of discipline, leadership, and service promoted by the National Cadet Corps.
The celebration began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by a respectful salute to the National Flag by the NCC cadets. All attendees stood in attention, expressing their respect and devotion to the nation. The cadets displayed excellent discipline and coordination during the ceremony, reflecting the core ideals of NCC.
Following the flag salute, the cadets performed a drill display, demonstrating their precision, synchronization, and dedication. The well-coordinated drill movements showcased the rigorous training and commitment of the cadets toward maintaining discipline and teamwork. The performance was highly appreciated by the dignitaries and the audience.
The dignitaries addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of Republic Day, highlighting the values of democracy, unity, and responsibility that the Constitution represents. They encouraged the students to actively contribute to nation-building and to develop leadership qualities through participation in activities such as NCC.
