Department of Civil Engineering @ VJIT has conducted orientation program for the first year B. Tech Students and their parents on 19th November 2021. Dr. Pallavi Badry, HOD of Civil Engineering, first congratulated the students and parents for joining Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology. She has addressed the students and the parents, the importance of Civil Engineering for building a green society and further discussed the curriculum and the basket of courses like Basic Sciences (BS), Engineering Sciences (ES), Humanity Sciences (HS) and Management Sciences. She also emphasized on the importance of regularity of the student, attendance, and the mentoring system in the department. She also discussed the professional bodies, student clubs like Delta and their activities in the department and how the students are actively participating in the Events, Sports, NSS and Cultural activities.
The student of IV year, Ms. Induja from Civil Engineering on behalf of all the students has presented her views and experiences during the tenure from I year to IV year and wished all the best for the I year students.
