The Department of Information Technology, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT), is pleased to announce the Internal Hackathon – Smart India Hackathon (SIH 2026), a two-day innovation and problem-solving event aimed at identifying and nurturing talented student innovators for Smart India Hackathon 2026.

The Internal Hackathon provides an exciting platform for VJIT students to showcase their creativity, innovation, technical skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities by developing solutions to real-world challenges.

During the hackathon, participating teams will work through different stages of innovation, including problem statement selection, ideation, rapid prototyping, coding, debugging, mentor interaction, solution validation, and final presentation.
The event will also provide students with opportunities to interact with academic and industry mentors, receive valuable feedback, improve their prototypes, and prepare their solutions for evaluation.
