The Mechanical Department has conducted a Guest Lecture on “Introduction to Electro-Mechanical Engineering” on 3rd October 2019. The Resource person was Sri Muralidhar Ekambaram, CEO, Adroit Servo-Mechatronices, Hyderabad. The lecture highlighted on the importance of Electronics Engineering applications in the domain of Mechanical engineering. It included crystalizer control unit of a Sugar factory, Cutting of paper into the requisite size by employing the Mechatronic Instrumentation without any folding of the paper at the edges. The talk also emphasized about the four bar chain mechanism and its relevance in the planetary gear systems being employed for rolling operations. The queries put forward by the student community in the preliminaries of Mechatronic Instrumentation were effectively clarified.
