A Two Day Faculty Development Program on “Importance & Uses of MATLAB Tool boxes in Communication & Signal Processing Applications” was held on 14th and 15th September 2018 in association with Capricot Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and IETE. The Resource persons were Mr. Prem Kumar, Capricot Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, Dr. S. Thulasi Prasad, Professor, Dept. of ECE, VJIT, Dr. C. N. Ravi, Professor, Dept. of EEE, VJIT. The Faculty Development Program acted as a platform for the research community to Design and Simulate the Real time Applications in the field of Signal Processing, Image Processing and Communications. The Workshop benefited the Research Scholars, Faculty and Students in their Research and Project work, as it covered the key areas like MATLAB Basics, MATLAB Functions, Basic Electrical Circuit Analysis using MATLAB, Characteristic plots using MATLAB, Communication Tool box, Signal Processing Tool box.
