Understanding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is vital for faculty members, as these goals provide a global framework to address critical social, environmental, and economic challenges. Faculty play a pivotal role in integrating SDG principles into teaching, research, and community engagement, preparing students to become responsible and informed global citizens. Moreover, awareness of SDGs helps institutions align their initiatives with national and international development priorities.
In this context, the IQAC of VJIT, in association with the Departments of ECE and Civil Engineering, is organizing a session on SDGs on 18th October. The session aims to enhance faculty understanding and encourage active participation in advancing these global goals through academic and institutional initiatives.
