In reminiscing Sir Mokshagundam Vishweshwarayya, the most outstanding Engineer of all times, the Civil Engineering Department of VJIT, has celebrated the “Engineers Day” on 15th September, 2018. The Engineer’s day was celebrated at Vivekanand Education Society’s Polytechnic College by organizing Technical Events for the Civil Engineering students of II, III and IV year. More than a hundred students have participated in the event. The Celebrations had Er. K. Narasing Rao, GM & Head, Engineering Division, Volta Green Structures, Hyderabad, as the Chief Guest, who gave a technical talk on “Pervious Concrete Later”. In the event Poster Presentation and Paper Presentation Competitions were held, in which brilliant ideas were presented by the students. The winners were awarded with prizes by Dr. Pallavi Badry, CE, HOD, VJIT.
