Event Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, under the CSI–VJIT Student Chapter, organized a one-day Bootcamp on “Agentic AI” on 16th October 2025. The session was led by Dr. Kalyan Sarvepalli, a distinguished academician and renowned AI researcher.

The workshop introduced students to the rapidly evolving domain of Agentic AI, highlighting how modern AI systems are becoming increasingly autonomous, adaptive, and capable of intelligent decision-making. Dr. Kalyan explained the shift from traditional rule-based architectures to self-learning agents that function effectively in dynamic and complex environments.

Throughout the bootcamp, participants explored:

  • Core concepts of Agentic AI
  • Applications of autonomous AI models
  • Hands-on model training using Google Colab
  • Data analysis and visualization through Looker Studio

The interactive demonstrations and practical activities helped students understand the development lifecycle of intelligent agents and their real-world implications. The session fostered curiosity, collaboration, and deeper engagement with next-generation AI technologies.
