The next question of yours will be What ???? Are you serious, Why are you doing it? Is it that necessary to do the event, When and where are we going to do, How and Who will do it. So answering all your questions… Here is small information on blood grouping, its importance and how VJIT-HITA will be coordinating the same.
Blood Groups:
Although all blood is made of the same basic elements, not all blood is alike. In fact, there are eight different common blood types. Which are A+ve, A-ve, B+ve, B-ve, AB+ve, AB-ve, O+ve, O-ve.
Why is it important to know your blood group?
Knowing your blood type is like an ID for you and for everyone.
- Life is full of risks and accidents, so as when someone get injured from a situation, if he/she still conscious he/she will tell the doctor his blood type, and so they won’t waste time in knowing it.
- If someone from the family had an accident, and he needs blood transfusion immediately or organ transplantation, you could donate blood to him/her without wasting time, if your blood type was suitable.
- Having a database of 3000 students from VJIT will be helping each and every one.
- Any requirement during an emergency, HITA will be just one call away to help them in identifying the donor.
