Department of Civil Engineering, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technolgy (VJIT), has conducted One week Faculty Development Program on Emerging Technologies and Sustainable Practices in Civil Engineering (ETSPCE-25) from 15th September to 19th September, 2025 in association with Indian Concrete Institute (ICI) Student Chapter.
In the FDP around 400 participants have been acknowledged with the present trends on Civil Engineering Department in sustainable way.
The FDP has been Started on 15th September,2025, with the Inaugural session welcomed by the Head of the Department, Civil Engineering, Dr.N.Sudharsan, and addressed all the participants and the speaker of the first day, Forenoon session was Engineer V.Pradeep, Deputy General Manager, Civil WET – IC, L&T Construction, Chennai. Engineer V.Pradeep, has delivered the lecture on “Building Infrastructure Faster with Digital Adoption”, where the speaker highlighted on adopting the digital applications in construction practices, Faster Construction, L& T Great constructions, and L&T Case studies.
