Overview

The Department has a Rich Experience of Experts in recent areas of Electronics and Communication that formulates and R& D cell to create awareness helps to find new avenues in the emerging fields of collaborative research to pursue both Academic and Sponsored research.

Objectives

  • To create awareness in the upcoming technologies of Engineering
  • To help Faculty and students to pursue academic research leading it to the major outcome such as publication, Competition, Hackathon, products and obtaining intellectual right for the work
  • To Direct the Department to perform sponsored research for societal problems and actively involved in consultancy work with industries.
  • To Motivate the department to perform self funded research to enhance students learning outcomes.

  • Latest Research Projects Received
  • Mr. A. Laxman of the ECE Department has completed the project titled “Sensors Networks & IoT”, he was sanctioned an amount of Rs. 7,00,000/- by DST National Level Conference under ICPS Programme during the academic year 2018 -2019.
  • Dr. Girish Kumar of the ECE Department has completed the project titled “Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps” and he was sanctioned an amount of Rs. 1,00,000/- by DST-NIMAT during the academic year 2018 -2019.
  • Dr. M Krishna Rao of the ECE Department was sanctioned an amount of Rs. 4,42,000/- to work on his project titled “Machine Characterization of Telugu Phonemes” by the UGC during the academic year 2016 -2017.
