Engineers’ Day Celebration Sept. 2013 at VJIT

The Birth day of Sir Mokshagundam Visveswarayya the legend Visionary and great civil engineer who has revoluntioned the civil engineering and defined what an engineer is, falls on 15th September. EEE Students of VJIT celebrated Engineers’ Day on 14th Sept. 2013 – a day ahead.

After the ceremony of litting of the lamp, the function started. Dr.Padmaja, Principal spoke about the great services rendered by Sir Mokshagundam Visveswarayya with emphasis on the Discipline and Punctuality.

Subsequently Mr.Venkata Chalam, SAO exhausted the students to emulate the example of the great legend and elevate the name of the college.

Prof S.M. Zafarullah,HOD / EEE narrated the life sketch of Sri Mokshagundam Visveswarayya, his great achievements and awards viz Bharata ratna etc., received by him during his life time.

Prof N.L.V. Prasada Rao emphasized the need and purpose of celebrating such events which inspire the students and enable them to disply their hidden talents.

Principal gave away the merit certificates for EEE students who have presented very interesting technical lectures with provoking thoughts and ideas a day before the function.

EEE II & III Year students hosted the function inviting all II Year and III Year students.

Miss P.Sireesha III Year played a video illustrating great services and achievements of Sri Mokshagundam Visveswarayya through beautiful self explanatory slides.

The celebration was followed by cultural programs.

VJIT is just a average clg. Its neither bad nor good thats how i felt when i studied, factuality is good, supportive bit management isn't.
