The Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology organized a Seminar on Engineering Projects in Community Service (E P I C S) on 2 Aug, 2014 for the students of the College. The college has already initiated the EPICS programme in the college and 110 students formed into to 16 teams and attending various community problems by giving engineering solutions. The resource Person Dr William Oakes, Professor from Purdue University, Indian Polis, U S A has been invited to deliver a lecture on EPICS program at Purdue University. He insisted that every engineering student must attend to the problem of the society. The program was attended by Dr P Rajeshwer Reddy, Secretary and Correspondent of the Institute. Nearly 185 students participated and the 16 teams of EPICS presented their projects and they were highly appreciated by Resource Person.
