Department of management studies, VIDYA JYOTHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has organized a one day workshop on ‘FINANCIAL EDUCATION’ sponsored by SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA on 12-04-2016 for both MBA I yr and II yr students.
In the workshop, Dr. P. Subramanyam, Resource Person, SEBI explained the basics of savings and investment, the tips in choosing the right investment options, strategies for asset allocation and given brief introduction to features and advantages of various financial products. Also he has added that SEBI is constantly making efforts to educate investors about investment environment in our country, risk and return analysis and other parameters needed to assess investment decisions by investors from different parts of life. Students expressed their happiness as the workshop has clarified their doubts and given good feedback.
