Group discussion session was organized on 10th January, 2014 for I Year MBA students in ICS Lab to gauge the students’ personality traits, communication skills, reasoning ability and assertiveness of the students. The topic for discussion was “Social Networking”. The students exhibited their talent and participated enthusiastically. Some of them were eloquent speakers and some students put forth valid points which are unique and need great emphasis. A few of the students threw light on the topic from different perspectives. All the students spoke in co-ordination with each other. Every team leader had led lived up to the expectations and performed his role of making the discussion lively with cohesiveness. He also motivated the silent participants to speak. The team leaders had handled the responsibility perfectly.
The G.D session successfully ended where the instructor analyzed their points and appreciated the students’ assertiveness, flexibility, initiative, leadership skills and communicative skills.
