The Department Management Studies organized an insightful session on Research Methodology and Drafting a Research Paper by Ms. Nidhi Anand, an esteemed academician and research mentor. The objective of the session was to equip students and research scholars with practical knowledge on how to structure, design, and present research work effectively. The Objectives of the event was to familiarize participants with the fundamentals of research methodology & To provide guidelines for identifying research problems and formulating objectives. Ms. Anand began the session by explaining the importance of research in academia and industry. She elaborated on the types of research (exploratory, descriptive, analytical, and applied). Participants were guided through steps in research methodology, including problem identification, literature review, hypothesis formulation, data analysis, and interpretation. She emphasized on drafting techniques, including title formulation, abstract writing, introduction development, methodology description, results presentation, discussion, and conclusion. The importance of APA referencing style and ethical considerations in research were also highlighted. An interactive Q&A session allowed participants to clarify doubts on publishing in reputed journals and conference papers.
