Next-Gen IoT Workshop Enhances Industry-Ready Skills for IT Students

The Department of Information Technology at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology organized a five-day Industry-Oriented Internet of Things (IoT) Workshop from 16–20 February 2026 at the C-Block Seminar Hall. The workshop was designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world industrial applications of IoT technologies.

The sessions were delivered by industry experts from Edutech Innovations, who provided participants with valuable insights into modern IoT ecosystems and industry practices. The program featured expert lectures, practical demonstrations, and hands-on training, enabling students to gain real-time exposure to emerging technologies and implementation strategies.

Key focus areas of the workshop included IoT architecture fundamentals, sensors and embedded systems, communication protocols, cloud integration, data analytics, industrial applications, and career opportunities in the IoT domain. Through these sessions, students developed a deeper understanding of how IoT solutions are designed, deployed, and scaled in real-world environments.

The workshop successfully enhanced students’ technical competence, innovation mindset, and industry readiness, reinforcing the department’s commitment to experiential learning and skill-oriented education aligned with current technological advancements.
