The Department of Civil Engineering, VJIT celebrated Engineers Day on 13th September 2024 with a spirited and intellectually stimulating Quiz Competition, organized in collaboration with distinguished alumni Mr. Kumar and Ms. Pragathi from the 2020–2024 batch.
The event brought together 3rd and 4th-year UG students, who enthusiastically participated in the quiz covering diverse civil engineering topics. The competition not only tested technical knowledge but also encouraged quick thinking and teamwork.
As the event concluded, Dr. Pallavi Badry, Head of the Department, announced the winners and presented trophies to the top-performing teams:
- 🥇 First Prize: Ms. Sindhu (IV Year) and Mr. Likith Kumar (III Year)
- 🥈 Second Prize: Mr. Srihari (III Year) and Ms. Shailaja (IV Year)
Dr. Pallavi also addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, skill enhancement, and career planning. She appreciated the initiative taken by the alumni and applauded the participants for their enthusiasm and active involvement.
This celebration not only honored the spirit of engineering but also strengthened alumni-student engagement and fostered a healthy academic spirit within the department.
