Brief information: We think there’s something that we can learn from the way plants express their gratitude. When you water a plant, it says thank you, standing up strong and tall. Keeping that in mind we did a plantation drive- Connect2Earth 2.0

A tree plantation drive was organized by HOPE VJIT, an NGO, The motto of the drive was “Each One- Plant at least one”. Several saplings of plants like Neem, Peepal, Guava, Jamun, and Mango were planted. The drive Was declared open when the Head Priest of Chilkur Balaji temple ‘Rangarajan Swamy’ gave a small speech encouraging us to take care of our environment
and Mother Earth.. After planting the saplings, we watered them and vowed to take care of them in the future. Our teachers and administrative staff also took part in the drive. Some students took a selfie while planting the saplings and sent it to their friends and relatives, motivating them to plant trees. The drive was declared a great success as we planted over 200+ saplings.
