Menstruation is something that every girl experiences when she enters adolescence. However, it is a stigmatised topic that makes girls feel ashamed to discuss, yet it is critical for them to understand menstruation in order to maintain their physical and emotional health and to refute prevalent myths and misconceptions.
To address this, Women’s Hope launched “Project Laal,” which took place at ZPHS Chevella. We also gave the girls around 150+ sanitary napkins.
The programme proved to be a highly informative and interesting experience.
