The 75th Republic Day celebration at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) was marked by national pride and unity. The campus was adorned with the tricolor, echoing the spirit of freedom and democracy. The ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by the esteemed Principal, Dr. E Saibaba Reddy, amidst the tunes of the national anthem. Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of unity, diversity, and progress for the nation’s continued growth. Students, faculty, and staff came together to celebrate this significant milestone. Dr. A Padmaja, Dean, Mrs. Srilatha, Academic Coordinator, Snr. A.O. Mr. Venkatachalam took part in the celebrations along with the HoDs of all the departments, faculty, staff and students.
The tradition of felicitating committed staff members on the republic day continued. The felicitation ceremony was a highlight, acknowledging the tireless efforts and commitment of Mr. Darshan Kumar, Lab Attender, EEE department, Mrs. R Veena, Lab Assistant, ECE Department, Mr. B. Satyam Babu, Record Assistant, Admin Department, Mr. Sammaiah, Driver, Admin Department and Mr. B. Jagadeeshwar Rao, Assistant Welder, Mechanical Department, of the institution were recognized for their contributions and dedication to the college.
Further, the ceremony also acknowledged the achievements of students and staff who played a pivotal role in the success of NSS initiatives. The blood donation camp, organized by the NSS team on 25th February 2023 received Appreciation Certificates from Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Governor Telangana State. The received certificates of appreciation were presented to the Institute, Dr. Saibaba Reddy Principal, Dr. A. Padmaja Dean, Mrs. J. Sree Devi, Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Arthi Boreddy, IV B.Tech ECE, Ms. Varshitha Reddy, IV B.Tech ECE, Surya Teja, II B.Tech CSE and Vikyath, II B.Tech CSE for their exceptional service.
