Department of Civil Engineering, has Organized INDO-AFRICAN CONFERENCE SERIES A Two-Day International Conference on Advancements in Construction Materials (ICACM 2023) was held in the VJIT, Hyderabad on 28th & 29th, April 2023 on Hybrid Mode, in Association with Copperbelt University(University in Kitwe, Zambia), Mattu University(Metu, Ethiopia), Indian Concrete Institute, ASCE (Indian Section Southern Region). The conference was inaugurated by Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy, Director and Dr. A. Padmaja principal of Vjit, Dr.Pallavi Badry, HOD, CE, Chief Guest Dr. Brett Phillips, ASCE member communities committee chair, ASCE MCC Global members Taskforce, Australia, Guest of honor Dr. V. Sundar, professor Emeritus, dept of Ocean Engineering, IIT madras, and Mr. Poloju Narsimha Chary, ASCE India Section Southern Region Past President. The conference inaugural followed by conference Proceedings.

The Keynote address was given by Dr Suriya Prakash, Professor, IIT, Hyderabad, Dr. Ravi Shankar Badry, Senior Computational Scientist, Arup India pvt Ltd. Dr. A. Bahurudeen, Associate Professor, BITS, Pilani, HYD,Dr. Yunus Ballium, Professor, UW, South Africa, Dr. Shen En Chen Professor, UNC,USA, Dr. Peter Demain LB University UK, followed by Technical Sessions Headed by Session Chairs Dr.B.Narender, Associate Professor, Anurag University, Dr.Kamalini Devi, Associate Professor ,CBIT and Dr. Ramajaneyulu, Professor, Anurag University and Dr. Hari Parsad, Associate Professor, Mahendra University . The conference was very interactive and offered a good platform to deliver on the Latest Technologies in Construction Materials to the Researchers, Academicians & Industry people to interact among each other for future growth in each domain.
