The Rural Entrepreneurship Development (RED) Cell of Vidya Jyothi Institute Technology has organized a Workshop on “Skill Development and Employment Opportunity” for the RED Cell Faculty and Student Members on 22nd July 2021. The erudite, aptly conversant and most experienced Speaker Professor Chethan Chittalkar, Director, Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education has addressed to the audience on how rural India can be uplifted by bringing in the most talented, passionate technocrats to improve the quality of rural life through technology and rural entrepreneurship. He has motivated the students to come up with their own business proposals by surveying the needs of the rural areas close by, identify their needs that they can resolve using their knowledge, skills and commitment. He also expressed how MGNCRE plays a key role in supporting their endeavors and also in building their skills for generating employment. The speaker has also thrown light on enhancement and continuous upgradation of skills of business advancement.
