The VJIT NSS has organized Haritha Haaram 2021 on 24th July 2021 in the college premises. Dr. M. Manzoor Hussain, Professor and Registrar JNTUH and R. Sanjay Kumar, ACP, Rajendranagar, Shamshabad were the Chief Guests of the event. Director Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy, Principal Dr. A. Padmaja and Senior AO Mr. V. Chalam have received and welcomed the Guests. The VJIT NSS Faculty coordinators and student volunteers have piloted the event.
Dr. M. Manzoor Hussain planted the sapling and appreciated the initiative of VJIT NSS in trying to improve the green cover in Telangana. ACP R. Sanjay after planting the sapling very sportively spent time with the NSS student volunteers and encouraged them to do many more such events. He further advised the students to visit various government offices and learn the administrative procedures implemented in the government offices. ACP Sanjay also took Dr. E. Saibaba Reddy for a drive on the Solar Electric Vehicle developed by the EEE students. All the HoDs of all the departments, faculty and students have planted saplings in the college campus.
