The Team C. Sreya Sree, B. Koti, M. Sreeja, A. Madhav Shekar of 4th year ECE, have worked and developed an innovative solution “Mask Reuse Box” on 3rd May 2021. It is a solution to sanitize and clean the mask in 3 steps that is UV light, Cleaning Slot, Drying Slot.
In the first step the mask is hanged on a vertical conveyor belt. Then, as soon as the mask enters the conveyor belt the UV-C light radiations are injected onto the mask and the mask is sanitized.
Once the mask is sanitized the detergent is sprayed onto the mask and a brush comes towards the mask and rubs vigorously on the mask so that the foam is produced to clean the mask. Lastly, water is sprayed on the mask to clear the foam.
Once the mask is sanitized and cleaned the mask is dried using a dryer.
