Aiming to provide an intense knowledge on Circular Economy for B.tech/M.tech/MBA Students, a webinar on “Circular Economy” held on 2nd Oct, 2020 by NSS and Rural Entrepreneurship and Development Cell. Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology has presented her opening remarks. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Srinivas Kesavarapu, Ph.D., Vice-President and Head, Technical and Research, Ramky Enviro Engineers Limited, Hyderabad, said, a circular economy is a systemic approach to economic development designed to benefit businesses, society, and the environment. He gave some informative examples of how one can eliminate waste and put focus on continual utilization of resources. The event was basically aims to make students understand that Circular Economy is all about gradually decouple growth from the consumption of finite resources.
