A Three Day Online Faculty Development Program is being organized by the Departments of CSE, IT and AI under TEQIP – III, JNT University, Hyderabad on “Application of Machine Learning & Data Science in the Emerging Areas” from 18th to 20th February 2021 at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology. The Chief Patron of the FDP is Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IAS and I/C Vice Chancellor and Patron Dr. P Rajeshwar Reddy. The main objective of the FDP is to disseminate knowledge to the faculty in the advanced domain areas of Machine Learning, Data Science and Deep Learning to improve their technical knowledge, concepts and expertise in the specific fields which have been revamped, restructured and reorganized.
The FDP on the First Day had Dr. Sameena Fathima from Anurag University giving an overview on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Science followed by Dr Illiah, NIT Warangal who shared his insights on the AI & ML. The high profiled Resource Persons were Dr. Santosh Kumar Sahu, ONGC. On the Second Day the Resource Persons were Prof. Salman Abdul Moiz, University of Hyderabad; Madhu. P, Director & Entrepreneur, Madblocks; Dr. U. S. N. Raju, NIT Warangal; Dr k. Suneeth Kumar Gupta, IIT, Dhanbad and Nvidia DLI ambassador for computer vision. The Third Day saw luminaries Mr Jyothi Periyasamy, Learning facilitator, Aritificial Intelligence for Business, MIT CSAIL & MIT Sloan, Boston USA; Mr. Kalyan, Founder & CEO, (Edu Tech Innovations) Edutechnovision and Dr Radha Krishna CSE HoD, NIT Warangal. The FDP concluded with the Valedictory led by the leaders of VJIT Dr E Saibaba Reddy, Director and Dr A. Padmaja, Principal. And all the Heads of the Departments of CSE, IT and AI.
