A Webinar on “Recapturing Advanced Technologies in Civil Engineering for Job Sustainability” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering – IGBC Student Chapter in Collaboration with Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 19th June 2020. Dr Pallavi Badry, Head of the Department, Civil Engineering addressed the audience with the Welcome Address, followed by the Presidential Note by Dr E. Sai Baba Reddy, Director, VJIT and welcomed the Key Note Speaker of the Webinar Mr. D. Raju, M.D & CEO of KIRBY BUILDING SYSTEMS AND STRUCTURES. Faculty, Research Scholars and Student participants around 250 took part in webinar from various Institutions.
Mr. D. Raju delivered lecture on Pre-Engineered Buildings, Ware Houses, Processing Facilities and the Utility of Available Infrastructure and the Advances in Construction of Green Buildings , High Raise Structures. Mr. D. Raju answered diligently all the queries of the attendees. Dr A. Padmaja, Principal of VJIT proposed the Vote of Thanks.
