Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) of VJIT has marshaled a One-Day Workshop on ‘Entrepreneur Journey’ on 1st October, 2018. Mr. Sri Charan Lakkaraju, CEO, StuMagz, Mr. Nikil Gunda, Founder, Digital Connect and Mr. Karan shah, Founder 8FX were the three young promising and budding entrepreneurs invited to inspire the students by sharing their experiences of their odyssey in becoming potential entrepreneurs. The inspiring workshop threw light on entrepreneurial views and the importance of building networks, idea generation, validation and skills-identification etc. The entire session was presided over by Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal, VJIT, coordinated by Dr. M. Vadivel, EDC coordinator, and the coordinators of the EDC.
Mr. Sri Charan Lakkaraju, CEO, StuMagz, Forbes 30 Under 30, Asia elucidated on how to start up Digital Connect activities focusing on how networking with the startups play a key role for the prospective young aspiring entrepreneurs. Mr. Nikil Gunda, Founder, Digital Connect, administered a session on Digital marketing, Problem solving and Web design, while enlightening the students on the aspects of initiating a startup, Ways to market/branding for startups, SMEs and MSMEs were also discussed. Mr. Karan shah, Founder 8FX, elaborated on his journey with web & graphic design, emphasizing on how branding/marketing can be done through graphic designs.
