A Two Day Workshop on ‘3D Printing in Product Development’ by Mr. Amarnath & Mr. Subramanyam, Quanint Tech Soft Pvt. Ltd on 6th October, 2018. In the workshop, it was emphasized on what kind of the welding processes and corresponding parameters are to be selected in the joining of the materials, also the different welding symbols along with their importance was dealt in order to understand the design and production drawing clearly. The understanding shall help on the shop floor so that it can be executed easily. The Resource persons also explained the components like nozzles in the rocket engine, LP engine, etc., which are used in aerospace applications which can be fabricated easily by employing vacuum brazing techniques. In the lecture it also highlighted on the amount of the vacuum to be created for the component joining in order to make it defect free.
