Official Inauguration of the Student Chapter [SPIE]

Finally the moment arrived when the chapter was officially inaugurated. This was a very joyous and proud moment for all the student members of the chapter. There was tremendous response throughout and all the support and guidance received from the college officials and our faculty advisor was finally bearing fruit marking the beginning of a new dawn.
Day 1- I session
The first session was conducted by Prof. T. Srinivas, IISC Bengaluru from the ECE department. His speech was on MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and MOEMS (Micro Opto Electro Mechanical Systems) .
Day 1- II session
The second session was conducted by Prof. K.C. James Raju, University of Hyderabad from school of Physics. His speech was focused on Micro Waves.
Day 2 – I session
In the first session a lecture was delivered by Dr. M Sai Shanker Prof. NIT Warangal. The focus of his presentation was Optics and Optical Fibers and LASERS.
Day 2 – II session
It was the most exciting and most awaited session by all the students who were eagerly waiting to get a glimpse of the practical applications. This session saw demonstrations by Mr. P. Kishore and Mr. VengalRao Pachala both research scholars from NIT Warangal.
