69th Independence Day Celebrations 15th August…
A great day and a proud moment for every Indian. VJIT too was all set to celebrate the National Festival. Everyone was geared up and enthused for the momentous occasion. A large number of students and staff participated in flag hoisting ceremony and cultural events. Director unfurled the National flag and all joined singing the National anthem with great pride. Leaders and martyrs were remembered in their speeches, with a mention of patriots who fought and suffered to win freedom for us.
Students performed a dance amidst great rejoicing, songs on patriotism and tricolor, where rendered with heartfull emotions. Final year IT students invited Vandemataram foundation orphanage (AKRODHA). Selfless contributions were made from one and all. Children of the orphanage were truly special and heartwarming.
