As a part of Entrepreneurship Development Program, VIDYA JYOTHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, MBA Department students had organized a product launch program captioned “VIPANI” on 09-01-2016. The students launched 6 products namely LIPBALM, HAIR OIL, COUGH SYRUP, HINDERANCE CAR (obstacle detector), APPLE CAR and RFID CHIP WALLET out of which first 3 are launched physically and the remaining virtually. Both I yr and II yr students enthusiastically participated in the program. Dept announced prizes to best launching to HAIR OIL, 2nd prize to RFID CHIP WALLET and 3rd prize to LIPBALM.
In this connection Director VJIT, Dr.P.Venu gopal Reddy Garu, appreciated students for taking initiative for such launching program and expected many more to come. Sr A.O Sri R.V.Chalam Garu also shared his opinion with students and expressed that many students should take marketing as their specialization as there is much demand for that profession.MBA Dept HOD Sri V.S.Sarma, highlighted various ways of product launching adopted by Steve Job while launching APPLE products, pre launching order bookings like in the case of HARRY POTTER series of books by J.K.Rowling. He also stressed the importance of arousing curiosity among public by releasing very small pieces of information like RAJAMOULI did while releasing his dream project “BAHUBALI”.
The entire program is conceived, developed and organized by Mrs. A.K.Srujana, Asst Prof and Mrs. P.Suneela Bharathi, Assoc. Prof., MBA Dept, VJIT.
