About the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) has been a cornerstone of academic excellence since its inception in 1999 with an initial intake of 40 students. Over the years, it has grown significantly, now accommodating 240 students in its B.Tech (ECE) program. The department also offers an M.Tech (ECE) program, introduced in 2011 with an intake of 18 students.
The B.Tech (ECE) program first received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2011 and was reaccredited in 2018. Presently, the program is accredited under NBA Tier-1 from 2022 for a period of three years, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high educational standards.

The ECE department is a hub of innovation, offering students numerous opportunities to engage in learning through workshops, seminars, certification programs, hackathons, tech-fests, and research projects. Various technical clubs within the department encourage self-learning and skill enhancement, fostering a dynamic academic environment.
The department is dedicated to advancing the fundamentals of electronics and communication engineering, thereby contributing to society’s intellectual growth. With a strong placement record of 80% each year, ECE graduates are well-prepared to excel in their careers. A team of expert faculty members, hands-on learning approaches, and a research-driven focus have solidified the department’s reputation as one of the best in the field.
