Two weeks hands on practice session on “ Design and Development of Electric Vehicle”

Organized by: IEEE PES student chapter in association with IIIC Industry Institute Interaction cell

The session was graced by principal, Dr A.Srujana, who addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech, highlighting the importance of skill based learning and encouraging students to actively participate and make the most of this workshop. We were honored to welcome Mr. siddhant pattanaik, COO & Director, SKYY Skill Academy, as the guest of the day,who shared valuable insights on the future of Electric Vehicles.

Highlights during the workshop

  • Under expert guidance students actively participated in hands-on  welding sessions, gaining real-time experience in joining chassis components with high precision and alignment.
  • Focused on Motor fitting & Alignment,Battery mounting & safety Fixing.
  • Battery integration and performance testing, Movement and control system checks.
  •  Students got their hands dirty learning from a real 3 wheeler electric loader vehicle. They explored electrical wiring & controller setup
  • Got Hands on experience about differential & drivetrain mechanism. Shock absorbers& speed control systems.

Finally the department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering officially launched a 3 wheeler electric vehicle, designed and developed by EEE Final year students. The symbolic EV key was handed over to Director-Placements, R. Venkata chalam, marking the beginning of a new chapter in innovation and practical engineering at VJIT.

The milestone reflects teamwork, creativity and the spirit of hands-on learning.
