As part of its continuous efforts to foster technical excellence among women students, the VJIT Women Empowerment Cell, in collaboration with SHECODERS, organized a Tech-Quiz exclusively for girl students of III and IV year B.Tech from the CSE, IT, and ECE departments. The event was conducted on 20th August 2020 at 3:00 PM and ran for a duration of one hour.
The online quiz was designed to assess and enhance the participants’ technical knowledge across a variety of core subjects including programming concepts, data structures, algorithms, and emerging technologies. The aim was to encourage critical thinking, competitive spirit, and a deeper understanding of key technological concepts.
To ensure maximum participation and accessibility, the quiz link was shared in the official department groups of the respective branches. The seamless coordination and proactive communication enabled a large number of students to take part in the event.
The Tech-Quiz initiative reflects the commitment of the Women Empowerment Cell to create platforms for women students to showcase their skills, engage in academic competition, and build confidence in their technical abilities. It also supports the broader mission of empowering future women engineers by providing them with opportunities to excel in STEM fields.
