The Department of Information Technology, Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (Autonomous) successfully organized a one-day seminar on “Advanced Technologies in Embedded Systems, Robotics and Drones” on 25th February 2026 at the C-Block, 2nd Floor Seminar Hall, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The seminar aimed to provide students and faculty with insights into emerging technologies and real-time industry applications in the fields of embedded systems, robotics, and drone technology, which are rapidly transforming modern engineering and industrial practices.

The session was delivered by the eminent speaker Mr. Vadluri Varun, Founder and CEO of EPIT Research Labs Private Limited. The speaker shared his valuable industry experience, highlighting recent advancements, practical use cases, and future scope in embedded systems, autonomous robots, and drone-based solutions. The talk also emphasized innovation, research opportunities, and career pathways in these domains.

The program was convened by Dr. A. Obulesu, HoD – IT, under whose guidance the seminar was organized successfully. The event was coordinated by Mr. M. Ravi, Assistant Professor, with active support from the faculty members of the IT department.

Students actively participated in the seminar and interacted with the speaker during the Q&A session. The seminar enhanced technical awareness, encouraged innovation, and bridged the gap between academic learning and industry expectations.
