The Department of Management Studies at Vidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) successfully organized a Regional Investor Awareness Programme on 25th July 2025, in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

This initiative was designed to foster financial literacy, promote informed investing practices, and educate students on investor protection mechanisms and the functioning of financial markets. The programme witnessed active participation from MBA students and faculty, contributing to an enriching and interactive learning experience.

  • Ms. Riya Jacob, Manager – Investor Cell, NSE, Hyderabad

The invited speakers shared valuable insights on regulatory frameworks, capital market operations, and the significance of financial awareness for young investors. Their sessions sparked thoughtful discussions and motivated attendees to adopt a prudent and well-informed approach to investments.

The event was convened by Dr. P. Chakradhar, with Ms. Srujana AK and Dr. B. Madhavi serving as Co-Convenors. Their efforts and seamless coordination were instrumental in the successful execution of the programme.
