The Rural Entrepreneurship Development (RED) Cell of Vidya Jyothi Institute Technology has organized a Workshop on “Rural Entrepreneurship Awareness” Programme for the RED Cell Faculty and Student Members on 6th January 2021. The erudite, aptly conversant and most experienced Speaker Professor Chethan Chittalkar, Director, Mahatma Gandhi National Council for Rural Education has addressed to the audience on how rural India can be uplifted by bringing in the most talented, passionate technocrats to improve the quality of rural life through technology and rural entrepreneurship. He has motivated the students to survey the needs of the rural areas close by, identify their needs that they can resolve using their knowledge, skills and commitment. He also expressed how MGNCRE plays a key role in supporting their endeavors. Mr. Kumar Abhishek, Legal Consultant, MGNCRE, has continued the session with an emphasis on the Legal procedures involved establishing rural entrepreneurship and the support & assistance student entrepreneurs can receive from MGNCRE. The session concluded with students building awareness and confidence in business building.
