Objective of the Visit

As a part of strengthening the Industry-Institute Interaction and providing real-time exposure to faculty and students about industrial practices and expectations, the faculty members of the Mechanical Engineering Department of VJIT visited two reputed engineering firms — Rexnord and NOX Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad on 4th December 2019.

• Acknowledgment of the importance of Industry-Institute collaboration to bridge the skill gap.
• Rexnord emphasized the need for students to align with global industry standards.
• Mr. Srikanth expressed willingness to organize Guest Lectures on technical and skill development topics.
• Potential Industrial Visits in the near future were positively discussed.
• Though being a US-based MNC restricts them from signing formal MoUs, they are open to continuous academic engagement through lectures and visits.
