Departments of CSE and IT has conducted a very educative Guest lecture on 3rd October, 2019 on “Just-In Time” (JIT) Inventory System a management Strategy that aligns Raw-Material orders from suppliers directly with production schedules. Mr. P. M. Balaji, Associate Vice President, Toshiba Company, Tokyo has been the Resource Person who emphasized on how the Faculty and Student community can utilize the resources and time in the aspects of project development. He highlighted on how Companies employ this inventory strategy to increase efficiency and decrease waste by receiving goods, as required for the production process, which reduces inventory costs.
