Orientation program on entrepreneurship for the academic year 2017-18 was held on 20th. January, 2018 around 200 students from all branches of II and III-year B.Tech. and MBA students attended the program. Dr. T. Rammohan Rao, EDC Coordinator of Vasavi Engineering College delivered the Key Note address. In his presentation Dr. Rao, explained in detail on “Who is an entrepreneur”, “Qualities of an entrepreneur” and “The 5 myths of an entrepreneur” Dr. Rao also explained the various opportunities and the support available for young entrepreneurs. Earlier, Dr. Rao was introduced to the gathering by Mr. Naga Kumar, Faculty in the Dept. of Mech. Engg. Addressing the gathering, Dr. A. Padmaja, Principal explained the support being offered by VJIT to the students coming with innovative and entrepreneurial ideas. Two E-Leaders from Vasavi College of Engineering shared their experiences with students of VJIT. Mr. M. S. Goutham, VJIT E – CELL coordinator and faculty coordinators of all depts. also participated in the program. The program anchored by Ms. Divya Vani of Civil dept. concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.Bharathi of MBA dept.
