About UsVidya Jyothi Institute of Technology (VJIT) was established in 1998 to foster the scientific temper in promoting the world class professional and technical expertise. VJIT is an opulent green campus with built-up area of 31,312 square meters. VJIT was approved by AICTE, permanently affiliated to JNTUH, granted autonomy by UGC and accredited by NAAC with A+. VJIT was also ranked in NIRF-Innovation in 2023. VJIT is a technical educational entity aims at promoting technical know-how, Innovation and entrepreneurship in the realm of science and technology with intake of 1320 students in B. Tech, 114 in M.Tech and 120 in MBA programs. VJIT is one among the most preferred by prospective students. VJIT offers undergraduate programs in CE, EEE, ME, ECE, CSE, IT, Al, CSE(DS), CSE(Al&ML). The departments of CSE, ECE, EEE, ME, IT and CE were accredited by NBA. Institute has 325 Faculty members with 30% Doctorates in all domains. IEEE and IETE ensuring high standards in technical education.
About ECE DepartmentThe department of ECE was established in 1999 with the inception of the college. The department was accredited by NBA under Tier-1. Department offers B.Tech program in ECE and M.Tech program in Embedded System. The department has well equipped laboratories that nurtures the young minds and transform them into an aspiring technologist contributing the welfare of the society. ECE department has well experienced, and dynamic faculty members with versatile experience in teaching, research and innovation. The department has JNTUH recognized Research Centre and also equipped with research labs such as NI LabView academy school, PSoC Semiconductor Laboratory, Antennas Laboratory and IoT laboratory. The department encourages students to perform projects that yield solution for real time problems. The department was adjudged as best IETE-ISF Chapter in the year 2021 and 2023. Many student clubs like HAM Radio, loT and Invention center are in place that encourages the students to learn technical education as fun with better understanding.
