VIDYA JYOTHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY has organized a webinar on “ IMPLEMENTATION OF NEW EDUCATIONAL POLICY (NEP) 2020 “ to the faculty fraternities of VJIT on 20th April 2021. Webinar speaker Prof M.L.Sai Kumar, Former Dean- Academics, IPE, Hyderabad, has proclaimed the aim of NEP 2020 and highlighted the importance of problem solving skills, inquisitive orientation, learner focus, multidisciplinary approach, field experience, model building as a part of the curriculum for the wholistic development of the student. He also described that NEP 2020 emphasizes on practical and experiential learning for the development of creative and critical thinking among the students. He further added that there is a need for tectonic shift in the existing pedagogical structure and should integrate technology with education to reap out the best results.
